when all else fails, you play in the water.

we had other plans but those fell through, so we got to play in the water instead. my daughter is so a miniature version of my soul, and if there is water, she is THERE. she ran wild, splashed all over, and then decided she was freezing all in the course of about 10 minutes but we enjoyed every single last drop.

if you dont get out to the state park often, or havent been to the outlet, YOU MUST DO IT NOW. like right now. go. we spend every single day we possibly can there. it is incredible and perfect for smaller kids who like to swim but cant yet do so in lake michigan. trust me. its so worth the longer drive and the longer walk out to the beach.
