a summer evening. i mean, doesnt that make you happy just saying that?! growing up in michigan and enduring the freezing cold for so. many. months. we really enjoy the summer. spending an evening doing things as a family on a beautiful, warm, and breezy saturday is kind of the best.

i've been dying to do a longer session than the normal family photos and of course my brother and his wife ended up my tester people. it was super fun, a little bit super warm, but most of all, OH MY GOD ALL OF THE CUTE. so, winning. 

icing on the already incredible proverbial cake? i held the baby and sort of wrangled nola and snagged some gorgeous photos of just my brother and his wife. double winning. 

i deserve a cookie today, guys.
