Heartfelt Self Portraits in Puerto Rico // West Michigan Emotive Photographer

waterfall-self-23.jpg

we've spent so much time on the island now after living there, and spending winters there, it's hard to label any one place a 'favorite' place at this point. but with that said, this waterfall is one of my favorites if i can still say that. my kids love it because it's almost always super deserted and low key, and they love to flip rocks and look for things. i love it for obvious other reasons. we frequent this place, regardless of the fact that it takes almost an hour to get here, one way, up a twisty turny road with the most beautiful views. on the way back we ALWAYS stop for food at this little restaurant, Casa Vieja, and have bistec pastelillos and a beer and  it's just the best day.

these are part of a self portrait project.
